Adobe Flash Player For Windows 10 Receives Security Updates

Microsoft and Adobe have both announced the availability of a new security update for the Flash Player for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 users. Read below to find more about this security improvement.

Adobe updates frequently its Flash Player and we have previously talked about an update that put an end to a lot of bugs, and also those that were causing the Flash Player to not work in Windows 8.1. Now, Adobe and Microsoft have released together a security bulletin that updates the Adobe Flash Player for Windows 8.1, Windows 8 and the other supported Windows versions.

Adobe has released security updates for Adobe Flash Player 11.9.900.152 and earlier versions for Windows and Macintosh and Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.327 and earlier versions for Linux. These updates address vulnerabilities that could cause a crash and potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system. Adobe is aware of reports that an exploit designed to trick the user into opening a Microsoft Word document with malicious Flash (.swf) content exists for CVE-2013-5331. Adobe Flash Player 11.6 and later provide a mitigation against this attack.

So, as we can see, Adobe and Microsoft have taken care together of various crashing problems reported by Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 users with the Flash Player.
