1Password Edge Extension In Development Insiders To Soon Test It Out

1Password is a service that specializes in organizing and managing passwords. You can use 1Password to store all your computer’s passwords in one place, making it easy to keep track of them.

The tool’s developer promises top security for users as well as great compatibility. There are already 1Password extensions available for major browser solutions like Google Chrome, Firefox and Opera, making it a versatile and efficient tool to have.

However, as you might have noticed, there is a browser name that’s missing from that list. This won’t be the case for long, though, as Microsoft is currently working on bringing 1Password to Microsoft Edge. Users will benefit from the 1Password extension in the near future. The Redmond giant confirmed it’s working with the Canada-based AgileBeats to make 1Password available on Edge.

A developer for Microsoft’s Edge went on Twitter to announce that users should expect the treat soon:

There are also talks about a platform unified version of the extension being made available soon through the UWP initiative. This could bring us 1Password functionality for all devices under the Microsoft Umbrella. This is good news for people with a lot of accounts to manage across multiple platforms.
